Tapped Out movie premiere

My buddy Eoin over at The Action Elite extended the invite and allowed Amodachic to tag along for the premiere of Tapped Out last Thursday April 24th. It was a great experience overall and although The Action Elite and Amodachic are polar opposites, many aspects of the event were right up Amodachic’s alley.

For one, the red carpet experience. Regardless of the nature behind the red carpet event, it’s one that fashion and beauty bloggers alike dream of attending. I was honoured to be standing front row as press while the talented cast walked the red carpet. We got a few interviews in which can be found here but Amodachic’s main focus was the makeup, hair and attire of the cast.

Of course, my eyes were glued to Jess Brown, seeing as she was the only lady to walk the red     carpet and not to mention is absolutely jaw dropping in person. Her ensemble was a gorgeous dress that encompassed many of spring’s fashion trends. Jess sported a stunning peplum inspired white dress with a floral print design, a cut out near the chest, and leopard print accent trimming. Her dainty bangles and nude shoes help regain focus on her ensemble and in general- her. Her makeup complimented her focal point features such as eyes and cheeks. It was a great look overall and not much is required when beauty is your main asset. We love JBrown.

My eyes were then geared towards Cody Hackman, the main man of the event. His polished attire, sleek styled hair (thank goodness, we highly encourage Cody to keep that going) and his contagious smile, Cody was in my books the man of the night. His outfit instantaneously reminded me of Mike Ross from Suits; a well-tailored suit with a white dress shirt paired with a thin black tie- my favourite. The suit jacket had simple details that made it stand out such as texture difference on the rim of the jacket. Amodachic stars? 5 at that!

We were also impressed yet not surprised that pretty boy Nick Bateman made his grand Toronto appearance in a black tailored suit accompanied with a black dress shirt and of course a bow tie. What we adored about his overall look was the detailing on his suit jacket. An almost bronzed and black on black print, it caught our eye and made a statement. Nick later credited HD Homme for their custom suits via instagram.

And finally our surprise hit of the night? Krzysztof Soszynski. I guess when we are used to seeing UFC fighters, not much but blood, defined muscles and shorts are involved. I may be part biased because his royal blue tie matched my classic H&M blue dress- but, I’m serious when I say he looked great. I loved how he looked true to himself, a black dress shirt rolled up, a dark grey suit vest, a royal blue tie and a lighter shade of grey dress pants. The accent of Krzy’s outfit that we adored most? It was none other than his unconventional shoes.

Well that about wraps up our review for our favourite red carpet looks for the Tapped Out Toronto premiere. Again, I want to thank The Action Elite for allowing us to embark on our first red carpet experience- I know that this was a first for many. I also highly recommend each and every one of you to watch the movie which is set to release in theaters at the end of May.
