I’ve convinced myself for years that I am not a morning person, but I am up by 7am from Monday- Friday. This of course is solely due to the fact that I have no choice since my job requires me to be there at the prompt hour of 8:30am. Throughout the past 2 years, I have found effective shortcuts to help make my mornings more smooth. Less time thinking and more time doing as I say. I’ve nailed my make-up and hair regime to no more than 20 minutes just to give my dear self more time to sit in city traffic.

The first thing I do (not part of my 5 minutes)is wash my face in the morning. Very important to remove ALL the dirt from the night before- yuck. Once I pat my face dry, I apply a moisturizer and let is set for about 5 minutes.
