Technology seems to be the centre of love and hate for many of us. As much as it can be distracting and daunting, it’s also beneficial in many ways when put to great use. I’ve noticed a recent trend within the blogging community in sharing favourite apps, so I decided to hop on board. Today I share my top 7 apps that I’m currently loving and using religiously. Enjoy 🙂

Duo Lingo
duolingo
As a trilingual speaking gal, there is no doubt that I am obsessed with languages. When trying to brush up, I always turn to Duo Lingo and play some fun “games”. Even if you don’t know a second or third language but want to learn- this app will help you get started. They have multiple languages to choose from, a wide array of activities and skill levels.

BeFunky
BeFunky
My favourite photo editing app. It has an abundance of options when it comes to edits, effects, overlays, texts, frames – you name it! They even provide you with the options of being able to create your own picture collage which helps eliminate additional apps.

Checkout 51
Checkout
This has literally become one of my grocery shopping addictions. Aside from collecting my PC points, Checkout 51 offers exclusive money back on their weekly offers. Once your account balance reaches a minimum of $20, you cash out and they will send you a cheque! It’s exactly like a mail-in-rebate but via an app. The app is simple to follow and very easy to navigate.

Venue
venue
As a person who can easily be labelled as indecisive, Venue has become my go to app when I’m not sure where to take the night. It’s an excellent app to explore my city and find out about the city’s hidden gems.  Last year I posted a more detailed post on the app, read more and don’t forget to download. It will change your social outings for good.

Net-A-Porter
NetAPorter
A fun app that I have recently discovered. Explore the latest fashion trends, what’s new and products by designer! They also allow you to shop and create wishlists. Their home feature includes neat topics and a round up of items centred around those topics. Although many picks are designer and have the price tag to match- this is more of an inspiration app than anything.

Wunderlist
Wunderlist
I love to-do-lists. Although I am traditional with paper to-do’s, this app has converted me to the digital side! First and foremost, it’s simple to use. You can organize any type of list, get reminders and set due dates, add people to your list (aka the beau so they can also help with the grocery list) and you’re able to access it anytime-anywhere. Afraid beau will be pick up the milk and you’ll end up with two cartons? Not an issue. Wunderlist removes items off shared lists once someone “tics” it off. Seriously life changing!

So ladies and gents, we’d love to hear some of your favourite apps. We are always looking for more fun things to fill up our time.
