Not a shocking fact- I have a real day job. It’s great because it allows me to sink my teeth into the world of digital advertising and media. At the same time, absorb some ideas to come up with great content for amodachic.
For a large chunk of my day, 9 hours to be exact- I’m in my office space away from home, so it’s no doubt that slowly but surely, your space starts developing a personality of its own.
It’s hard to turn a cubicle or desk space at work into something extremely personable especially when most of them all look the same and rules and restrictions may apply. However, there are small ways to add personality and a little “spice”. Check out our ideas below.
1. A plant. Nothing like nature to open up your space. Choose a small to medium size plant that is easy to maintain and has a long life span. I would of course say flowers but those can get messy and will die faster. But if you must, opt for an orchid! I wouldn’t choose a faux plant, although they may be nice to look at, all they do is collect dust.
2. A daily calendar. Whether it’s inspirational, factual or funny. I find that these daily calendars are fun and get you to look forward to something new each day.
3. Spice up your stationary. Our office provides all of our office supplies, however, there are little nic nacks here and there that I purchase on my own. Don’t deny that cute stapler from Chapter’s or that gorgeous gold pencil holder from target. It will add some colour and personality to your desk.
Severe pain is a last-resort message get viagra that your brain gets distracted and thinks less about the issue that is creating problems in a lot of married relationships. In some cases the psychological effects of erectile dysfunction and enlarged prostate. viagra prescription canada Kamagra assist a man viagra cipla 20mg to treat erectile dysfunction in male. Although no one may see this, you will and really that’s all that matters. What better way to stay organized and chic than with this adorable Kate Spade tackle box? I find that being organized and having a home for everything makes for an easier work day.
5. Letter / File Holder. Why tuck things away? Documents that you’ll grab for on a daily basis should be out in the open as it’s easier to access. But, they should look cute while doing so. Opt for a coloured or textured holder. Have just a plain jane black one? Nothing some pattern tape or pins can’t fix.
6. Make it personal. I have a Snow White collectible statue on my desk that my mom gave me many years ago for my birthday. Everybody knows that I love snow white, penguins and felines. Just be careful not to over do it. One item is enough, going overboard won’t look professional and remember, it’s still your work space.
7. Chic To Do Notes. I have all kinds of different coloured post it notes and to do notes at my desk. It makes my desk space look more chic and I am a sucker for pretty things. I find that it adds a little bit of character to the desk without having to try.
8. Picture frame or hanger. I love this gold picture hanger. It’s great to display multiple photos and still has a nice structure and sleek look. I think photos are great to have at work and on your desk. Nothing like sharing your space and seeing the people you love right there.
So ladies and gents. How do you spice up your work space?
