10 Things To Do On Valentine’s Day

Although G and I don’t partake in the holiday of love, it doesn’t mean I don’t have some ideas up my sleeve. Most of these ideas  have streamed from previous celebrations (i.e: birthdays or anniversaries or “just because”). We hope you and yours have a lovely Valentine’s Day- if you celebrate and remember to always keep the love flowing 365 days a year!

1. Scavenger Hunt
I did this before for G on his birthday. I hid clues all around the house and the final clue is where his gift was. The whole thing was a blast because you can get as creative as you’d like with the clues!

2. Balloons with a Message
I also did this for G on his birthday (he’s so lucky). For his 25th birthday, I pined 25 balloons and ribbon with “25 reasons why I love you”. Each string had a reason and it was numbered. I kept the door closed with an envelope and sign saying “do not enter” until he read what was in the envelope. It’s a unique idea on how to relay a message to someone you love. You can also opt for photos instead of “notes”.

3, Questionnaire Bucket
Have each other write down 5-10 questions each on a piece of paper without telling the other person and place it in a small bucket. Set a picnic style dinner at home, during or after dinner, take out the bucket and take turns choosing a question. If you pick the question your significant other is answering it. Think outside the box and get to know your partner better!

4. DIY Movie Theater
DIY popcorn, hot dog and nacho station with some treats and drinks. Set it up with pop corn bags ,reusable cups and bottled beverages. Create your own “movie” board with times on it as well. Choose a movie as you would with your significant other in the comfort of your own home while helping yourselves to some delicious treats.

5. Ping Pong Cup Game
Think of “chores” or “prizes” you’d like to gain from your significant other or get them to do. Ideas:

10. Good ol’ Arcade

Happy Planning! 🙂
