For those of you who know me personally, you’ve probably seen me with a vampy look. Regardless of season or trend, I am always sporting a dark look, I just can’t get enough of the dark lip.
However, with a dark lip comes a lot of complications, trial, error and of course frustration. But as the good ol’ cliché goes, practice makes perfect and even better than that? Following a few simple steps.
So here we have my take on 6 steps to a bold lip, goodluck!
1 . Swatch and Apply
Before purchasing any dark colour regardless of hue, you should not only swatch it on your hand (to determine texture and get an idea of the undertones) but also cleaning it off and applying it on your bare lips. All lip colours regardless of shade look different on everyone. A hand swatch may not be true to what will reflect on your lips, so always swatch and apply.
2 . Lip Brush
