G and I have opposite work schedules so when we have the weekends to ourselves it’s a great treat that we try to take advantage of. This weekend I decided to plan an intimate picnic at the park located near a beautiful neighbourhood in Toronto. However, when the day crept closer I reckoned it was time to make a list of things I needed to have ready for this picnic (of course, a list, who else is NOT surprised at this notion). Picnic Checklist: Picnic Knapsack (mine is made to serve 2,includes: acrylic glasses, melamine plates, cotton napkins, cutting board, utensils, salt & pepper shaker, corkscrew and table cloth) Our knapsack is insulated to store cold beverages and has a wine pouch.

Our look focused on taking it from day to night, how you can easily make the switch after work or a long day.
Side note: I am still working on perfecting light for my photos. It seems that everywhere in my house has either pot lights or odd light fixtures that cast shadows so I do apologize in advance.

As much as I rave and glamourize the beauty and significance of shades, it doesn’t mean my world is all black and white. I truly adore pink in all shades, it’s one of my favourite colours (surprised? I know). It could simply be due to the fact that pink suits my skin tone or for the mere reason that it’s an upbeat colour.
As we get older into our adult years however, us women (and maybe men too) start developing odd fears. One of them is how we can look too girly or reflect a lack of maturity due to what we wear or how we do our hair and makeup. Pink being one of the unfortunate victims.
